Happy Mother Earth Day
Life is a journey full of many interesting twists and turns... as John Lubbock said, "What we see depends on mainly what we look for."
Are we looking for diamonds?
There is truly so much around us everywhere we are and these images reveal some of the wide variety of Mother Nature to be discovered, not to mention the diamonds inside of us...
The first image taken on Canyon Road in Santa Fe New Mexico... of a large Kwan Yin statue together with the moon was truly an inspired moment, of simply being present with the joy of timing!
The second image is at Bandiler National Park looking towards the ancient Pueblo Dwellings - and the awesome sky of clouds felt very expansive and inspiring. I will post more about this journey later...
The next two images were taken here on the Big Island of Hawaii, where the rainbows often light up the sky with their transparent colors bringing a delightful feeling of blessing, love and the warmth of Aloha. The third picture of Green Sands Beach is literally located at the southern most tip of the U.S. & can only be reached by walking or 4 wheel drive and as you can see is quite beautiful.
The last image is of the redwoods near Santa Cruz California and although the picture can't really express their massive size and height or the wonderful smell of the forest, it is still inspiring.
I am so grateful for all of the wonders of nature and for having the opportunity to live and travel to these places... and in so many ways posting some pictures of Mother Nature's beauty seemed to say more than words. Life is truly a story - a picture book journey of each person with their own unique story to tell and their gifts to share with the world.
A famous quote by Howard Thurman;
"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
For me I find it is about breathing in the inspiration, getting outdoors, playing and having fun, and the meditative aspect of going within to uncover the beauty of who I already am. It has truly become my story to dust off the diamonds and open more and more fully to the gift of my uniqueness. As I focus on my writing and the building of Mother Earth Heart Wisdom School, everyday is a journey of curious wonder of deeply being in Awe and the ah-ha's of discovery. I know each of us is a precious diamond with so much brilliance to offer - and it is my sincere desire to help awaken our Sacred Presence with the JOY of Creation's EvoLOVING Flow... the JOY-FULL JOURNEY with life, and to inspire Soul-full play in a fun and focused way as a Writer, Storyteller, Creativity Coach and Practitioner. Learning to honor and value our uniqueness, really feeling ourselves being held by Mother Earth as we take this Heart Walk, I feel is the key. May today's images, words and quotes be an inspiration to uncover more of what is already there inside each of us, as we dance in the field of possibilities together with Mother Earth, Aloha!
